Teenage Pregnancy
Youth Support's twenty year look
at early parenthood across cultures.
First we travel to Jamaica for an
overview of teenage pregnancy.
Secondly we look at the
group of school girls who became pregnant in the mid eighties and see how they
and their families and children have fared through the years. These
families were reported on in 'Are you my sister, Mummy?' and at the fifteen year
stage in 'The Child that Rocks the Cradle' (available at
www.BooksBooksBooks.org).
The third part deals with a group
in Los Angeles and focuses on the young fathers.
ORDER
The documentary is available in
two editions - Jamaican Edition has 25 minutes on Jamaica alone whilst the
compilation includes 15 minutes on each of the three cultures (total 45mins)

- Subsections
Here we have
divided the main video into three sections for convenience of viewing for
those of you with limited time - each section is 15 minutes long but it
must be appreciated that this is a 'chopped up' presentation and was not
intended to be viewed in this manner since it loses continuity of the
transitions and comparisons between the cultures. (available only at
384kbps CBR)
